This does not mean you have a bestselling novel or are hired by a magazine or newspaper. The most lucrative market today for aspiring writers is in the internet.
The internet is nothing but the written word that each website is using to convey a message to the viewing public. Even YouTube and other video sites all use words to describe their content. Someone has to write it for the profit sites that pay for it.
There are those that do make submissions to publication sites that pay extremely well. The problem with that approach is the income stream is inconstant. For a majority of the writers available on the internet, they are willing to write for less and produce more so content on websites can be created for the web owners. This creates a revenue stream that can be relied on.
The source of clients can be from Craigslist, any number of online employment sites or a writer can even have their own website. Search all Craigslist cities at one time. Once 4 to 8 different clients are purchasing your digital products, a writer can actually make a living at writing for a living. It is possible just as long as the writer is persistent about their goals and dreams of being a professional writer.
